The NWAIS Institutional Leadership Conference to Be Scaled Back To Encourage Board and Heads to Take Advantage of BoardSource Leadership Forum

BoardSource Leadership Forum, the nation’s largest biennial convening of nonprofit board leaders – will take place in Seattle (October 19-20, 2017). This is a once in a decade opportunity and we would like to encourage Heads and Trustees to take advantage of the opportunity. For that reason we will be scaling back the Institutional Leadership Conference for 2017.

In an effort to offer programming that would compliment the Board Source Conference and would be an alternative for those who felt like Board Source was outside of their resources constraints, we will offer a one-day workshop on The Art of Ask on Sunday, November 5, 2017. We will also continue to offer our four New Trustees Workshops in September and the Heads and Board Chairs: Propelling School Change in the Spring. The combination of our programming and Board Source will provide a strong line-ups of governance professional development for trustees at every level. We hope you will join us!
