On Sunday, March 12, The Evergreen School (Shoreline, WA) had the pleasure of hosting the third annual NWAIS MakerFest, featuring projects and presentations from students in grades K-12 representing independent schools from Seattle, Bellevue and even Bellingham. The projects showcased robotics, physics, engineering, technology, electronics, textiles, architectural design, chemistry and more. "Maker" fever was high as students shared the processes by which they created their projects and discussed the next steps in the iteration process. Cold, wet weather and even the switch to daylight savings time couldn't dampen the morning’s mood. Students showed their projects with pride, and the eagerness to create was in the air!
