Seeking an experienced on-site coordinator for our after-school program. Candidates must be committed and knowledgeable about after-school programs. Candidates should be highly motivated to growing professionally, working collaboratively and to becoming part of a professional learning community.

Days: Mondays – Thursdays when school is in session.

Times: 3:00 – 6:00

Seattle Hebrew Academy, a Modern Orthodox Jewish Day School, has been serving the greater Seattle community for 70 years, by providing exceptional academics and inspired Judaic Studies to children from Early Childhood through 8th Grade.

Seattle Hebrew Academy – founded on love of God & Torah – educates students, families, and community within an atmosphere of K’vod HaTalmid, student dignity.

Primary responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Responsible for coordination and successful implementation of after-school class offerings, developmentally-appropriate activities and general after-school care for children in Early Childhood – 5th grade.
  • Work cooperatively and communicate effectively with school staff and parents.
  • Communicate with parents at drop-off and other times as needed.
  • Remaining on site during the entire time the after-school program is in session and until all children have been picked up.
  • Responsible for insuring staffing coverage on all shifts, substituting and finding approved additional coverage as needed.
  • Assure the program maintains appropriate supplies and materials for program activities.
  • Complete administrative tasks and paperwork related to the after-care program, including but not limited to: attendance sheets, leave request forms, and accident / injury forms


  • Have an interest in, respect for, and ability to work with children.
  • Must have prior experience with after-care program.
  • Ability to maintain a safe environment, use good judgment and utilize effective problem solving skills.
  • Strong command of communication, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Must be CPR / First Aid certified and successfully pass comprehensive background check.
