Bright Water Waldorf School is currently seeking a dynamic Early Childhood Substitute Teacher for the 2019/20 school year. The ideal EC Substitute candidate will work in collaboration with the class teachers with a diverse range of daily tasks in the Early Childhood program.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a warm and joyful manner with young children
  • Be well organized
  • Be self-assured and willing to take direction
  • Assist the teacher with the care of the children and the classroom
  • Show interest in continuing professional development, especially Early Childhood Waldorf Training
  • Early Childhood Training and/or experience strongly preferred
  • Comply with BWWS school policies and procedures

Applicants must also:

  • Be able to lift 55 pounds
  • Be able to climb stairs
  • Clear fingerprint background check
  • Have current CPR, first aid and blood borne pathogens training certificates
