Assistant/Associate Director of Admission

Responsibilities: Reporting to the Director of Admission & Financial Aid, the Assistant/Associate Director of Admission will participate in all aspects of the admission process as a member of the admission team. Responsibilities include:

  • Recruiting and working with prospective students and families as they move through the admission process.
  • Assisting with the generation of marketing/recruiting content for the website.
  • Generating/maintaining social media content for admission office feeds.
  • Interviewing applicants and serving as a member of the admission committee.
  • Assisting with and serving as a member of the financial aid committee.
  • Assisting with other on-campus/off-campus/virtual admission events.
  • Other duties as assigned by the director of admission.

Qualifications: Strong presentation, organization, and communication skills and an interest in connecting with prospective families, particularly those who have been identified as underrepresented in the Overlake community. Comfort with technology, in particular social media and online tools for connecting with prospective families. Independent school experience and/or experience within a mission-driven organization preferred. Bachelor degree required.
