We are seeking a candidate who is thoroughly prepared to teach a range of courses within a rigorous grade 6-12 science curriculum. The ideal candidate would hold an advanced degree in one of the life or physical sciences, or a related discipline, and would have three or more years of appropriate teaching experience. The position will require teaching at both the middle and high school levels. Specific course assignments will depend on the expertise of the candidate and the needs of the department.

The successful candidate will be able to develop a healthy rapport with students from ages 11-18, and will embrace Waterford School’s mission, vision, and values in curriculum, teaching, and membership in the community. A full-time course load entails full teaching responsibility for four courses, each meeting for 75 minutes two or three times per week.

The Waterford campus is set on 45 acres at the foot of Utah’s Wasatch Mountains, one of North America’s premier outdoor and recreational areas. The school offers an outstanding working environment.
