The Northwest School is a college-preparatory, co-educational independent school near the heart of downtown Seattle. We offer a rich and challenging program to roughly 500 students in grades 6 through 12, including 80 international students, many of whom live in our campus dormitory. Supervise dormitory residents
Assist in providing an environment that's safe, friendly and comfortable
Prepare students for each day's activities through informational sessions
Work closely, cooperatively and amicably with all faculty and students
Monitor and ensure appropriate student behavior
Attend all staff training sessions and meetings as directed
All candidates must demonstrate a commitment to the school’s mission, values, and philosophy, especially related to diversity and environmental stewardship.
An associate's degree and one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of skills and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the position are required.
Experience working in a student residential setting.
