Who We Are

KapKa is a small, cooperative elementary school celebrating our 30th year as a dynamic community of children, parents and teachers working together to create an inclusive, experiential learning environment that fosters compassionate and capable lifelong learners. While we were, for most of that time, a school for grades K-2, over the past several years we have expanded through fifth grade, adding teachers and staff and moving into our current location on the border of the Fremont and Phinney neighborhoods just one block from Woodland Park, allowing us to spend a good part of each day learning and playing outdoors.

Please see our Values Statements to read about how we support children in their learning at KapKa.
