Propose a Workshop or Session To Our Speaker File
Request for Presentation Proposals
NWAIS invites you to showcase your expertise as a presenter at an upcoming conference. You may submit your proposal by emailing one or more brief presentation topics and descriptions. Please make sure to designate:
- The Conference or Audience of Interest
- Session Title and Description
- Speaker's Biography
- History of Working with NWAIS schools (if any)
- Requested Honorarium (if any)
The power of our Association resides in our willingness to share resources and knowledge. Members are encouraged to propose sessions. Consider sharing your expertise with your association colleagues.
Non-members are also encouraged to propose sessions.
Please note that these are not exhibitor presentations. While presenting provides visibility to your organization, it must be appropriate for the both clients and non-clients, be based on a body of evidence and highlight your expertise, rather than your product.

Propose A One-Day Workshops for Educators and Administrators
The Northwest Association of Independent Schools will host one-day workshops for classroom educators and administrators. They are generally held in the Seattle and explore trending and perennial topics in education and administration.
We are seeking proposals for facilitating a workshop that is five hours in length, interactive, and focus on producing actionable results for attendees and the institutions they represent.
Past topics have included: Governance, Classroom Technology, Enrollment Management, Differentiated Instruction, Teacher Evaluation, and Social Emotional Learning, Mindfulness, among others. These topics and others will be considered for next year’s workshops.
In your proposal, please outline
- Workshop title and description (1 paragraph)
- Agenda and flow of day (1 page max)
- Three learning outcomes for the day
- Facilitator's Biography
- Requested Honorarium (if any)
NWAIS may provide an honorarium and reimburse travel expenses. Please include your honorarium requirements with your proposal. The proposal deadline is April 1 for the following academic year. Proposals will be considered on a rolling basis.
