NWAIS Application for Affiliation

A school may apply for one of four affiliation categories (Candidate Member, Subscriber School, Founder School, Affiliate School*).  The appropriate category for the school will be determined upon the school's application material, an on-site assessment of the school by the NWAIS Executive Director, discussions with school leadership about the school's stage of development and the school's commitment to meet the obligations of NWAIS membership.

*Affiliate Schools are either located outside the eight states served by NWAIS accreditation or have educational programs not meeting all the criteria for school membership.

Please upload the materials requested below in the fields provided.  All supporting materials and payment should be submitted to the NWAIS office at least one week prior to the scheduled school visit by the NWAIS Executive Director.  Your school's application fee of $200 can be submitted via Visa, Mastercard or check.



Please download the 2016 NWAIS Accreditation Rubric on page one of this application and comment on areas where the school is not yet meeting the Standards.  Briefly describe the steps the school is taking or planning to take to make progress in these areas.
